Alicia Newitt, LMFT - Clinical Therapist
Alicia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been working with addiction and recovery issues over the past three years in private practice, and inpatient settings dealing with co-occurring disorders. She most recently worked at Phoenix House with adolescents struggling with addiction. Additional experience includes counseling college students and families in the Conejo Valley, as well as five years experience working with the handicapped population.
Alicia received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. She is currently working towards her Psy.D. at Saybrook Graduate Institute, with an emphasis in treating trauma. She has professional memberships with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the American Psychological Association (AMA).
Her personal hobbies include kickboxing, hiking and traveling. Alicia's favorite quote is, "If you think you can or can't – you’re right!"
