Primary Therapist & Group Facilitator- Sarah Jarvis LMFT, ATR-BC, CGP

Sarah Frank Jarvis is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP).  She obtained her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Phillips Graduate University and her BA in Studio Art from Humboldt State University. Sarah is trained in Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Group Psychotherapy, and Addictions Counseling. 

Sarah has been working within the field of Addictions and Recovery since 2008, utilizing approaches that consider the whole person, their family system and history, and their environment. Sarah tailors treatment to meet the needs and goals of each individual client, while continuing to adapt and grow to meet ongoing needs and circumstances. She has presented workshops nationally on addiction and recovery, group therapy, and art therapy through the American Group Psychotherapy Association and taught Group Psychotherapy and Case Conference courses at Phillips Graduate University as an adjunct professor. Sarah runs a private practice in Los Angeles.

Throughout her life, Sarah has seen how the sharing of personal experiences and creative expression can be catalysts for healing and personal growth, both in herself and in others. This led her to pursue a career where she hopes to assist others on their paths of healing and growth, witnessing and aligning with her clients’ experiences, intersecting identities, strengths, and resilience. Sarah also enjoys cooking, being in nature, dancing, and making Zines.
