Kathy Marks PSYD, MFT is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and clinical supervisor and training analyst in Los Angeles and Westlake Village. She holds a masters in marriage and family therapy from California Graduate Institute and a doctorate in psychology from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles. Kathy is passionate about helping individuals, couples and families create meaningful lives and relationships.
Kathy’s 20 plus year career began working in dual-diagnosis treatment centers counseling individuals and families to heal and rebuild their lives. She was the former clinical director for Beit T’Shuvah and Recover Integrity treatment centers. In 2010, Kathy along with the State of California and UCLA Gambling Studies Program developed the first outpatient and residential program, housed at Beit T’Shuvah for Problem Gamblers. In 2013, Kathy left working full-time in residential treatment to focus on her private practice. She specializes in addictions, mood disorders, relationships and trauma.
